I have been caught in the web of working on silk organza!

The sheerness of this fiber is the perfect surface for drawing and painting images, overlaying them in multiple dimensions. The effect is dreamlike and ethereal and encourages the viewer to look through the surface and explore the inner landscape. Beneath the veils of silk are mixed media paintings and drawings infused with life, motion and memories. In additional to wall relief pieces, I also work with three dimensional pieces suspended from the ceiling and free form installations.

Silk organza is the skin that I intuitively infuse with life. Like the human body, silk is strong and at the same time delicate, and like the skin, it is soft and touchable. It is an exciting and unique fiber to explore the weavings of our inner and outer world.
